This peaceful fishing village is centered around a beautiful public beach. It has much to offer – you can buy fish, lobster, and conch direct from the local fishermen. There are two beach resorts with restaurants. On Thursdays there is a farmers’ market, with a veggie truck, juices, meats, seafood, rum, etc. A full grocery store is 7 miles away in Maya Beach.

This seaside village is a prime location, at the base of the Placencia Peninsula. The coral reef islands of the MesoAmerican Barrier Reef begin a short distance offshore ~ strung like pearls across the sea. Here you will find world-class scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, sailing, and sport fishing.
